Detailed driving directions are provided below which will take you to the Lone Mountain entrance located on Turk Street (one block north of Golden Gate), between Parker Avenue and Temescal Terrace. A second visitor kiosk on main campus can be reached from Golden Gate Avenue, between Roselyn Terrace and Tamalpais Terrace.
After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, stay in the right lane and take the Golden Gate Park/19th Ave exit. Turn right on Cabrillo Street and then left onto 14th Avenue. Proceed to Fulton Street and turn left. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Parker Avenue. Go two blocks and turn right onto Turk Street, then make an immediate left onto the Lone Mountain ramp between Parker Avenue and Temescal Terrace. Proceed to the visitor's kiosk half-way up the ramp.
After crossing the Bay Bridge, take the “101 North/Golden Gate Bridge” off-ramp. Take the off-ramp to its end, following the signs for Octavia Blvd/Fell Street. Proceed onto Octavia Boulevard. Turn left at the end of Octavia onto Fell Street. Travel approximately 1 mile to Masonic Avenue. Turn right on Masonic and travel 6 blocks. Turn left onto Turk Street, proceed about six blocks and pass the first ramp. Make a right onto the second ramp between Parker Avenue and Temescal Terrace. Proceed to the visitor's kiosk half-way up the ramp.
Take Highway 280 Northbound. Take the 19th Avenue exit and stay in the left lanes. Stay on 19th Avenue for approximately three miles, through Golden Gate Park. Turn right onto Fulton Street. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Parker Avenue. Go two blocks and turn right onto Turk Boulevard, then make an immediate left onto the ramp between Parker Avenue and Temescal Terrace. Proceed to the visitor's kiosk half-way up the ramp.
Take Highway 101 Northbound. Once in San Francisco, stay in the left lane and take the “101 North/Golden Gate Bridge” off-ramp.
